What is a KYC check?

“Know You Customer” is an identity verification procedure carried out by MangoPay for Vechit members.  MangoPay is required by law to carry out this procedure so that the services that it provides adheres to the anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing requirements.

KYC procedures ensure that members are not engaging in fraudulent or illicit activities and are acting legally and fairly.

Any active sellers on Vechit may have to complete this procedure.  Please be patient with the KYC checks and rest assured that it is a necessary procedure which makes sure that Vechit operates in a safe environment for its members.
