The Vechit story
The idea for Vechit blossomed from having too many traditional and cultural clothes sitting in the cupboard that aren’t being worn and just taking up space.
Friends and family were always asking each other for ideas for where to sell the items so that someone else could buy them and they could be reused again. The old answer was that you would need to advertise on various platforms to get a buyer, which would take so long to do! I mean, let’s face it, who’s got the time to manage interactions across multiple platforms! The new answer is Vechit!
The idea behind Vechit is to provide a single “go to” place to sell and buy new and pre-loved traditional and cultural items.
So now, you can buy that outfit, wear it once and not worry about what to do with it, just Vechit afterwards! There are so many items sitting in wardrobes, in suitcases, under the bed and even in the attic. There are so many people out there who can make use of these clothes or items, which also positively impacts sustainability and the circular economy. Use Vechit and set them free……….make your clothes and items live longer!
